Explore George T. Bagby State Park

George T. Bagby State Park is located along the shores of Lake Walter F. George (Lake Eufaula) in southwest Georgia. For fishing, boating and swimming, a marina, boat ramp and beach offer easy access to the 48,000-acre lake, where trophy fishing includes the state record catch for blue catfish. Full boat rental services are available.

Enjoy tennis courts, bicycle rental, birding, a playground, tennis, and volleyball.

The park offers both a picnic shelter and a group shelter, ideal for families to enjoy their fresh catch from the lake. Reservations may be made for each. Visitors can also explore the forest of hardwoods and pines from a three-mile nature trail, GeoCaching, tennis courts, birding, tennis, and volleyball.
